In this blog when I mention social media I will be referring to Twitter, rather than writing a blog referring to the social media networks as a whole. I am not one to believe in the "one size fits all" approach. Of course there are many more social media outlets on the web and I will cover these in my future blogs.
What a great example of using social media - @kingofshaves on Twitter shows how using a movie hit like The King's Speech can take a small business and make the heads turn of large corporations!

I have just completed a survey from Google AdSense here http://bit.ly/eor3Jv . The purpose of the survey was for Google AdSense to learn more about how their users are creating and sharing content online. For example, sending a social update to our friends on Facebook or blogging about a hobby on Blogger. This would qualify as online content creation and sharing.
I would like to wish everyone a happy new year 2011 - Just had a thought, the date now is 1/1/11, I wonder how long before this happens again? :)
I look forward to 2011 and what it has to offer! Good or bad I am sure it will be much as a learning curve as every year is! For all of us!
Maintaining your website and gaining visitors to your website through search engines is easier than you think. It really is a matter of time, effort and relevancy.
There are many websites out there that state “ We will get you on the first page of Google – Guaranteed !” If you come across websites stating this or anything similar, my advice would be to click back in your browser as quickly as you can!
