Below is the command line code for changing the default PHP version in Plesk. If you are using Plesk as I do on a number of VPS servers, even though you can change the php version inside the Plesk domain control panel, this does not change it at the command line.

I use Putty to connect to the command line. To connect your domain name in Plesk to the command line, you go to "Web hosting access" in the domain subscription type.

Here you will find the two important things.

1) A field with your "username" already filled in.

Recently I have seen an increase in spam form submissions even with using Google reCAPTCHA . Being that most of the Drupal sites I develop are for small to medium sized local businesses, I tend to add a telephone number field to their website contact forms.

This is a simple bit of code you can add to your style sheet that will hide the Drupal 8 front page main content (No front page content has been created yet.) block. This is useful if you want to build a front page that is solely built with blocks.

If someone likes your Facebook business page then they are automatically added to follow the page. (You can only follow a page once you have liked it) The follow is set to default.

They then have the option to unfollow the page or see first. This means that "likers" can unfollow so they will not see your posts in their news feed. They can also set to "see first" which means your posts will be prioritsed in their feed. I wouldn't sweat it though because most people who follow a page don't bother using these settings.

The rel="noreferrer" attribute indicates that the browser should not send a Referer header when following the link. It enhances privacy by allowing users to avoid leaking referrer information when they click on (or prefetch) links to external sites.

Over the last few weeks, due to Google's updated algorithms, I have had an increase in emails from agencies offering guest posts and text link proposals. These types of emails are now not just becoming annoying but the way they are initially worded appears to be legitimate interest in my websites and indeed offering money for advertising.

This of course is not new to me nor to anybody else with a website with regular traffic. But due to the way these emails are being worded and many coming from the UK appearing to be legitimate companies, I feel obliged to reply.
